Earlier this summer, a DOT compliant dynamic application application package was developed and deployed with several TSS customers. As the summer has turned to fall, we have had a solid few months of testing and development, and at this point are making the online application package available to all system owners. All baseline systems can have a link replaced to direct applicants to the online tool. Once the application form is completed, the applicant is taken directly to a digital signature tool, and when digitally signed, a complete application is delivered directly to the hiring manager in PDF format.
One system owner was having issues managing the annual MVR review process, and we were asked to develop a tool that could be integrated into the TSS system. We have developed this tool for them, and were so impressed with the efficiency of this tool, all systems have been updated with this resource. This will be found in your ADMIN TOOLBOX under REQUEST ACTION, by simply typing in the name and email address of the desired employee, a request to complete the certification will be sent out, and when completed and digitally signed, will be returned to the Safety or Compliance Officer at your company. This tool reaches employees in the field or can even get to those difficult to track down intermittent drivers. We have included the ability to upload a current MVR within the tool.
Currently, we are developing a custom tool to manage expiration dates for the primary credentials that expire. This exciting new tool will track the dates of Driver License, Medical Card and MVR and will automatically email the individual with the upcoming expiration with a link to upload new items when obtained. Each system manager will also be able to run a report on a regular basis, as needed, or have a report automatically emailed to them on a set date. This new tool will be available in mid November, and should make management of expirations much more efficient.
Finally, as we are preparing to head to St. Louis UMA, we have utilized our own tools to offer electronic contract tools which allow quick and easy deployment and signature of documents for new system buyers. We have simplified the pricing to three levels of production, and three levels of maintenance for unlimited users and “You Own It” stability. You can now get a basic stand-alone system with basic support for $2500.00 and $100.00 per month, and if you would like a fully branded system with Premium support, you can have that package at a very reasonable $3500.00 and $200.00 per month.
